Corey Beaulieu - full name Corey King Beaulieu – is a lead and rhythm guitarist with the Florida based thrash metal band Trivium.

Born in Maine 1983, Corey Beaulieu attended Foxcroft high school where his main passion was ice hockey.

During college he heard that Trivium were looking for a new guitarist and decided to try out for the band. To his surprise he was asked to join Trivium in 2003, just after the release of their first album “Ember to Inferno”. He toured with the band to promote this album although he did not play on it. Subsequent albums are “Ascendancy” released 2005, “The Crusade” 2006 and “Shogun” 2008.

Corey Beaulieu shares the lead and rhythm guitar duties with Matt Heafy - the driving force behind the band.

Corey Beaulieu’s first guitar was an “Epiphone Les Paul Standard”, however today Dean Guitars have produced a Corey Beaulieu signature model. This association started when Dimebag Darrell’s long-term partner gave Corey Beaulieu and Matt Heafy a Dimebag signature guitar each in 2004, which led to a three-year long endorsement deal for Corey Beaulieu and Dean Guitars.

Today Corey Beaulieu often plays a custom model V decorated with the Trivium logo and in metallic red.

Trivium has toured with Metallica and Iron Maiden and was named as best live act at the Metal Hammer Golden God Awards in 2006.

Corey Beaulieu appeared on the project Roadrunner United in 2005, held to commemorate 25 years of Roadrunner records playing alongside roadrunner captain and band mate Matt Heafy on “In the fire”.?
