BIOGRAPHY - Daniel Bage

Daniel Bage was born June 19th 1985 in Exmouth, UK. He is currently the guitarist for Mutiny Within.

Daniel has been playing guitar as a hobby since he was approximately 12 years old. Shortly after learning the guitar the need to be in a metal band began. The location stacked the deck against him as Exmouth is rooted in folk and acoustic music.

Daniel joined Mutiny Within in the middle of their album recording process. He and Chris (singer) have been good friends since they went to the university together in Wales, UK. Mutiny Within needed a new guitarist, and he got the call. He feels very lucky because the timing was right for him, his playing was at a good standard.

For his playing style, Daniel always thinks of himself as a rhythm player but also enjoys leads and solos. Daniel also considers himself more of a picker than a sweeper. His style and writing are a mix of some of the more prominent names within the guitar world. Daniels influences are a variety of guitarists including; John Petrucci of "Dream Theater", Mark Tremonti of "Creed", Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, and James Hetfield of "Metallica".

Daniel’s equipment consists of; Peavey 6505 plus, Ibanez TS9, DOD Delay, Decimator, Boss CS2, Boss CH1, Ibanez Prestige RG3620Z + RG3520ZE, Dimarzio Pickups, D'addario Strings, Planet Waves cables and picks.
