This week’s ‘Amped artist’ is Finnish metal band Carnal Demise. The video to the single ‘Flatline Fever’ from the band’s debut self-titled album can found below.
Since their inception in 2007, Carnal Demise has built a solid audience and captured the attention of several publications, both in their home country and worldwide. The band’s unique mix of rock and death metal, laden with epic melodies has earned them airplay on such radio stations as Radio Rock and Yle X, and helped them to ink a booking deal with Backdoor Agency.
After releasing four EP’s, Carnal Demise unleashed their self-titled debut album in May 2012 via Inverse Records. As well as receiving rave reviews and airplay the album has also launched the band to the forefront of upcoming Finnish metal bands. Since its release, Carnal Demise has supported some of Finland’s most celebrated bands, headlined their own shows and played on the main stage at the Suonenjok’ Rok Festival.
Carnal Demise’s performance at the Kuopio Rockcock 2012 festival club enticed blog site Ghouls&Pearls to write: “The evening was all about Henry´s pub and club that featured Carnal Demise and Enthring. I have to say that Carnal Demise knocked my f*ucking socks off!! What a live performance! Sweat, naked butts, guitar riffs.. wow! This band should play in stadiums!”
