3 Inches Of Blood guitarist Justin Hagberg has spoken about the score he composed for a new documentary, titled ‘Murder Of Couriers.’
Hagberg said he worked on the score with his brother in a statement posted on the official 3 Inches Of Blood Facebook page: “Hey guys, my bro and I composed the music for a documentary called ‘Murder of Couriers.’ It’s a film about the lifestyle of bike couriers in Vancouver.”
He explained that 3 Inches Of Blood had worked with one of the films writers, directors and producers in the past: “…Tom MacLeod, is a long time collaborator of 3IOB, having done our 12:34 video and studio reports for ‘Long Live Heavy Metal’, ‘Anthems for the Victorious’, and more.”
‘Murder Of Couriers’ will be screening at numerous film festivals this fall. “If it’s showing in your area, definitely go check it out,” Hagberg added.
‘Murder Of Couriers’ description: “Murder of Couriers documents the lives of a group of bike messengers in Vancouver over a nearly three-year span. This feature length film was made by couriers, about couriers, for a wide general audience. The film offers the chance to experience a lifestyle that not many get the privilege to enjoy: the love and hatred for the roads we live on, the chaos of Friday night bike polo and alley-cat races, the affect of the party lifestyle, the poverty associated with the job, the inevitable pitfalls that come with living in the moment – and the individuals who endure it all.”
