The Experience Hendrix tour, a traveling show that pays tribute to legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix, has announced that it will be hitting the road again, early next year. You can check out the dates below.
The current lineup for the ever-changing bill, features some of today’s most respected guitarists, including Buddy Guy, Dweezil Zappa and Billy Cox, and as always, you can expect to see plenty of surprise guests. In past Experience Hendrix tours, several big-name players like Paul Rodgers, Joe Satriani, Hubert Sumlin, Steve Vai, Carlos Santana and many more have dropped in unannounced.
One of the great things about this tour, is that it provides fans with a chance to see some of their favorite artists collaborate with other artists who they normally would not. Next year, you can expect to see the combined talents of DweezilZappa and Billy Cox, Buddy Guy and Robert Randolph, Jonny Lang and Brad Whitford, etc. all performing their favorite Hendrix songs.
