Guitar pedal manufacture’s Digitech have introduce the world’s first programmable pedalboard using the Apple® iPad. The Digitech ipb-10 pedalboard harnesses the power of the iPad, giving the pedalboard all the flexibility of a multi-effect system.
The manufactures have also announced the release of the iPB Nexus app for the iPad. Together, the iPB-10 and iPB-Nexus give you the power to create you own virtual pedalboard while still having the full benefits of a physical pedalboard. You can drag and drop 10 pedals at a time to the pedalboard and with 87 different pedals, 54 amps, and 26 cabinets to choose from, you can obtain a near infinite amount of guitar tones. You can save your setups and access them with a stomp of your foot, meaning you can even switch pedalboards mid song.
The DigiTech iPB-10 will be available this month from $499.95. The iPB Nexus app will also be a free download from the manufacturers site with purchase of the iPB-10.
