While, the list may not feature Young’s most popular pieces, the tunes that have been selected, most certainly do demonstrate the legendary songwriters simple, yet highly effective technique on the guitar.
 
At 66 years of age, Young’s career has spanned six decades and dozens of hugely popular songs. He is an extremely gifted songwriter. His raw and emotional writing style, has seen him become one of the most celebrated musicians of all-time.
 
So as Gibson says, “Apologies already, as this Top 10 might not include your favorite Neil Young song.” It is, however, well worth taking a look at.
