Former Guns ‘N Roses guitarist Slash and Black Veil Brides axemen Jinxx and Jake Pitts were the big award winners for the guitar categories at the 2012 Revolver Golden Gods Awards, which took place last night (April 11) at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles. A full list of winners can be seen below.

In a night filled with surprises, shock rocker Marilyn Manson took to the stage with Pretty Reckless singer Taylor Momsen before turning the crowd into a state of frenzy by welcoming renowned actor and guitarist Johnny Depp to the stage to perform the tracks ‘Sweet Dreams’ and ‘The Beautiful People.’ A video of the performance can also be found below.

As well as putting on a blistering live performance of ‘School’s Out’ with rock legend Alice Cooper, revered guitarist Slash also took home the ‘Riff Lord’ award, which was presented to him by his former Guns ‘N Roses and Velvet Revolver bandmate Duff McKagan.
