Metal heavyweights Stone Sour have announced that guitarist Josh Rand will be hand picking previously unheard Stone Sour demos from the band’s archive and releasing them to members of the Stone Sour ‘Dead Generation’ fan club.
Rand’s selection of demos will feature tracks in their very early stages, as well as songs nearing completion; giving fans insight into Stone Sour’s writing process and the evolution of some of the band’s biggest hits.
The first release in the series of unheard recordings will be the demo of ‘Get Inside’ from Stone Sour’s 2002 debut self-titled album. Members of the Stone Sour fan club will have access to the track from Friday, July 20. Subsequent demos will be released on the 15th of each month thereafter.
