Revered Alter Bridge and Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti has released a video lesson for the song ‘You Waste Your Time’ from his debut solo album ‘All I Was.’ It can be found below.
‘All I Was’ was released on July 17, this year via Tremonti’s Fret 12 Records. The album debuted at No. 29 on The Billboard 200 chart after selling over 12,000 copies in its first week of release. Tremonti sang and played guitar on the record with Alter Bridge and Creed bassist Brian Marshall, guitarist Eric Friedman and drummer Garrett Whitlock making up his backing band.
In a recent interview with The Pulse Of The Radio, Tremonti was asked how he decides what songs would be best suited to use in each of his three projects. “I’ve just gotten this filter, this intuition that tells me what songs go to which band, and with my solo stuff, the rhythm section is so different from the other bands, I think it really stands apart,” he explained. “I think it’s a little more aggressive than both the other bands, but you just have to hear it, I guess.”
