Renowned guitarist Michael Angelo Batio has featured in the latest commercial for Kia Canada’s new Optima car. It can be viewed in its entirety below.

 

Meanwhile, Batio has also announced that he will be performing his show, ‘Hands Without Shadows – A Tribute To Rock Guitar’ on June 15 at the Riverbend Festival in Chattanooga, TN on the Unum Stage at 8PM.
 
‘Hands Without Shadows’ is a multimedia smorgasbord featuring the music of some of the greatest rock guitarists of the past 50 years, including Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Metallica and more.
 
According to Batio’s official website, “Michael Angelo Batio takes you on his 90 minute auditory and visual journey to the different eras of rock music while playing guitars with incredible speed and musical precision. Michael begins by first playing guitar right handed, then left handed, then playing two guitars at the same time on his famous Double-Guitar.”

 
As well as witnessing the unmatched brilliance of Batio’s guitar playing, attendees to the show will be treated to the complete viewing experience, with multiple video screens, lasers, incredible lighting, on stage theatrics, and the incredible all new show from drummers Carmine and Vinnie Appice, Thunder & Fire’s ‘Drum Wars.’
 
Highlights of ‘Hands Without Shadows’ include:
