The Faceless guitarist/vocalist Michael Keene has revealed that the band has finished recording the highly anticipated follow-up album to 2008s ‘Planetary Duality.’
Keene made the announcement in the following post to Twitter: “You guys…the new Faceless record IS DONE! Yes, you heard correct. It’s done.”
While no official release date as been confirmed, according to the PRP, the new album, which will be called ‘Autotheism,’ will hit stores on August 14.
“That’s right my friends. I have descended from the mountains to carry my fire to the valleys. BE BAPTIZED IN THE FLAME OF AUTOTHEISM,” Keene added in a separate Tweet.
The new album will be the first to feature the new Faceless lineup, which now consists of Keene and drummer Lyle Cooper, as well as new guitarist Wes Haunch, bassist Evan Brewer and vocalist Geoffrey Ficco.
Last week, The Faceless posted behind-the-scenes footage of the band working on the new album. The video, featuring a snippet from the new song ‘Deconsecrate’ can be viewed below.
