Legendary rock guitarist Slash has put his hand up to do a guest appearance on the hugely popular children’s television show ‘Sesame Street.’
Speaking with Rip It Up magazine, Slash said that he hadn’t yet received an invitation to the show, but would gladly accept it if one ever came: “Sesame Street have never approached me, though I would do it and I love kids. There’s no way I’d ever turn Sesame Street down,
Despite his enthusiasm, Slash remained realistic on the matter, “but I don’t know if parents would think I’m the best public influence on little kids.”
Meanwhile, Slash recently confirmed that he and vocalist Myles Kennedy are already writing material for the follow-up to Slash’s second record ‘Apocalyptic Love,’ which hit stores in May this year.
Speaking with Rapid City Journal, Slash said: “We are working on material, gathering ideas for another [record] at this point. We are sort of like in those early stages where I’m just recording different guitar ideas and I turn Myles on to it. He’s thinking about his stuff and what he’s going to do with it and so on.”
