Top 10 Riffs Most Likely To Be Heard In A Guitar Store

UltimateGuitar.com has compiled a list of the top 10 riffs that are most likely to be heard in guitar stores worldwide. It can be read below.

While many of the riffs featured in the list also rank in several different ‘Greatest Riffs Of All Time’ declarations, the general consensus among guitar store clerks is that there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. In fact, it isn’t uncommon for classic songs like Led Zeppelin’s ‘Stairway To Heaven’ and Deep Purple’s ‘Smoke On The Water’ to be banned entirely from guitar retail outlets.

Of course, it is unlikely that the regularity in which these songs are played in guitar stores will diminish any time soon: as Ultimate Guitar point out, “when a shopper takes a seat and cradles that Les Paul or SG, some licks just beg to be played.”
