Legendary guitarist Slash has posted a video of himself, and the rest of his highly talented band, jamming it out in the studio. You can watch the video below.
Slash’s upcoming solo album is set for release in 2012, and according to the former Guns N Roses guitarist, there are already 15 songs written and ready to record. “I had no idea we were gonna lock in as well as we have,” Slash commented.
The free flow of inspiration may have had something to do with the fact that the renowned guitarist is taking a different approach to this album. Unlike on his debut solo record, Slash and company, which includes Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy, have sat down together to write the album. “This is the first time we’ve ever really sat down and wrote together. It’s been a really nice experience…the chemistry of working together, and putting in the time and really digging into the melodies, and I think with the finished record, it’s really gonna show on that.”
So how’s Slash feeling about the new album? “I’m really f@#king excited.”
