Soulfly and Cavalera Conspiracy guitarist, Marc Rizzo has performed ‘By Great Odin’s Beard,’ from his latest solo album ‘Legionnaire,’ live at EMG studios. You can check out the full, incredible performance below.

 
Rizzo began personification guitar when he was only 8 years old. Over the years he took lessons with several teachers, but it was one in particular that stood out for the young guitarist, his name was Dennis Kimak. “[Kimak] was a large change on me flourishing up. He was one of a best guitar teachers in a area.”

 
While teachers like Kimak, shaped a fortitude of Rizzo’s training and internal inspiration, he looked to other guitarists for impulse such as Joe Satriani, Vinny Moore and Dimebag Darrell.
 

Today, Rizzo is arguably one of the most underrated guitarists on the planet. He is a master of many styles, and has the ability to incorporate them all into his own songs. It doesn’t matter if it’s hard rock, metal, jazz, classical or flamenco guitar, Rizzo is one of the best in the business.

 
Along with his contribution to numerous album releases with Ill Nino, Soulfly and Cavalera Conspiracy, Rizzo has also released three solo records. They are all definitely worth checking out.
